LGBTQ – This Might Come Back to Bite You!

A few years ago, I was homeless in Edinburgh for a short while. Eventually I got a housing association flat that was located right next to the Royal Mile & in a very handy location for the centre of the city. I have to say though that it was a rough neighbourhood!
One day I came back to my flat to see my neighbour sitting outside his front door starring intently up at the sky like I had seen him do before. This time I couldn’t resist and asked him what he was looking at? “They’ll be coming soon”, he said, still with his gaze firmly heavenward. “Who will be coming soon?” I asked. “Don’t you know, some are already underground, but others will be coming from above to join them. And when they do, they will kill the Christians and Jews first and then all the gays next!” Now my neighbour did know that I was a Christian and so it was a bit of a chilling and totally unexpected response. Needless to say, I didn’t hang about to continue the conversation, and after closing my front door, checked it a couple of times to make sure it was securely locked!
Fast forward just a few weeks and things are going from okay to much better for me and I had secured a very good job with British Gas. I started off as a temp, went on to the call centre and then ended up training new employees. It was a very big office employing about 750 people I think.
Now this was at the tail end of the 1990’s, just before the turn of the millennium and it’s an important point to note that it was just a few years prior to 9/11. British Gas was undergoing huge changes not only in personnel but also with their computer system. One of the computer whizz kids that really stood out for me and caught my attention was a guy called Malik. He was so obviously a devout Muslim. He regularly stopped his work and prayed. What attracted me to him was his absolute zeal and the fact that he was very upfront about what he believed. It may seem like a very weird thing for me, a very keen Christian to reach out to a guy like that, but I did. He obviously thought it was a great opportunity to maybe get me converted too!
So, I found out that Malik was 24, he absolutely hated the West but had come over here to study and gained his degree in Computer Science at Glasgow University and was now employed by British Gas, and presumably very highly paid too. He was a very active member of the local mosque. He even took me there one day and it was a very eye opening visit for me. We used to have very long and sometimes difficult conversations at break times in the companies restaurant. One day was particularly embarrassing for me as I was trying to explain why we Christians believe in the Trinity. He stood up and laughed so loud that it really drew attention to us, which was awkward. Once, I noticed his hands were incredibly dry looking and it looked like eczema, but I found out that it was because of all the ceremonial washing he had to do, not only his hands but also his feet as well before praying.
One day, we are on the bus after work and on the way to his apartment to have a coffee. I had been listening for ages about all his boasting about how much he gives to charity, especially at Ramadan because it gets him more points to hopefully get him into paradise. I stopped him dead in his tracks and actually made him look visibly stunned and shocked by what I said. “This is what my Bible says Malik, it is by grace I have been saved, through faith—and this is not from myself, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast!”
So, anyway, and this coming up is why I am writing this whole post. We were having a coffee and he turned on the TV for the news. In Edinburgh at the time there was a big, annual LGBT parade on every year. You could see giant condom shaped balloons in the sky sometimes. It was a big event. Incidentally, I stopped paying my Union dues because I found out that Union supported this event with my money!
Now, this is what Malik said to me and this is 100% true and you might find it shocking.
He looked at the TV, then looked at me and said, “Andrew, do you know how we would put an end to all that?” “No”, I replied. “How what would you do that Malik?” “Well, we would forcibly gather all the gays up to the very centre of the city. Then, we would burn them all alive. That would put an end to that!”
Well, in hindsight, and don’t forget that this was before 9/11, I would say that Malik almost certainly was an up and coming terrorist. He was so full of hate it was frightening. I think our ‘friendship’ just petered out, especially as neither one of us was prepared to budge on our beliefs. But it still makes me feel weird knowing that at one time I had been that close, face to face with a terrorist.
But, here’s the thing. Islamists despise gays. They would not tolerate them. I don’t think all these LGBT people who protested so much and rejoiced so much at the death of Charlie Kirk really know this. They protest about what’s going on in Gaza but seem to be oblivious to the fact that they wouldn’t last five minutes if they went there to live. Hamas would see to that. Their support for mass immigration and particularly the illegal immigrants might just come back to bite them, big time. Listen, that strange neighbour I mentioned right at the start was almost uttering a demonic prophecy. Islamists, if they gain power in Great Britain, will go after Christians, Jews and yes, the gays as well.
